Pastoral Care
Every child’s welfare is of paramount importance to us.
Teachers have primary responsibility for the children in their class, both as individuals and as a group.
The school is structured to allow children to befriend children from other classes and to be known to all full time teachers and assistants. At Eridge House we strive to provide a happy and secure environment for all.
We believe that relationships are based on mutual respect, trust, caring and consideration for others, rather than on power and strength. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at our school. In the unlikely event that bullying does occur, all children should be able to tell an adult at Eridge House and know that incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively.
